Fri, 19th September, 2025 from 9:30 AM, in London
As people responsible for your own long-term personal development we invite you to join Milly Rolle and Deborah Fleming, both long time members of the Sadler Heath community to explore two key questions:
- How do we truly embody and socialise our values through our work?
- What happens when our values are/are not aligned with our (client) work/organisation?
Context:
When our environments are in flux and we are facing “not knowing” – often it is our values that consciously (or unconsciously) inform our decisions. We are living with more uncertainty and misinformation in a world full of contradictions. This puts a microscope on our individual values. We want to explore the role of these values in our working lives in 2025.
Process:
We will curate a dynamic and sensory space to explore how your own values are expressed, how they manifest in what you do and how they shape who you are at work.
We will adopt a multi-medium approach, using visual art techniques and processes to allow you to explore and be curious with your own values.
We want to test your relationship with the act of ‘being creative’ whilst also applying the artistic outputs to your work with individuals and organisations. By doing this, we will explore our own biases and assumptions that inform our decisions and processes as facilitators of this work.
Milly and Deborah met through Sadler Heath at a visual art focused workshop that Milly ran in October 2024. At the time, Deborah was researching the role of values in Sustainability focussed organisations for her MSc and their work immediately overlapped. The result is this exploratory workshop for deepening our connections with our values. Both Milly and Deborah have been devising ideas on this together since this first meeting.
