We do not want our lives to be taken over by the technology we have created.
With an overwhelming global drive to invest in technology, leadership is now more than ever about nurturing the human capacities within organisations. Artificial intelligence, machine learning, algorithms and data analysis are streamlining processes, simplifying procedures. But focusing too much on the tech can be dehumanising to the detriment of individuals and teams. The future of work lies in the human sphere of curiosity, creativity and connectedness.
Curiosity drives leaders to do the right thing, to listen with empathy, to uncover the details that make an organisational difference. Creativity is born of the collision of ideas and requires leadership that encourages collaboration and cross sector fertilisation. And if people are change, and the pace of change is reliant of the quality of the relationship between people, then leadership is the art of nurturing those connections.
In this workshop we use the Human Intelligence Assessment Tool to think about how we can build organisational culture that that puts human intelligence at its core to nurture individuals and build teams that are resilient, agile, collaborative and compassionate.
