Inclusion: The Social Process

Fri, 24th May, 2019 from 9:30 AM, in London

As people responsible for your own long term personal development, we would love you to participate in our next London event.

This is a workshop that begins to pick away at the nuanced and complex subject of Inclusion (and diversity). How can we work more inclusively with others? Who should be in the room for this to happen? What prevents us and empowers us to pursue a more inclusive working environment? These are all questions that we will consider in the session and we may leave with many more. Any external outcome starts internally – developing self-awareness on the subject of bias, power and behavioural patterns and willingness to shift these.

Milly Rolle is a theatre practitioner specialising in inclusive creative processes that harness the diversity of the minds and bodies that inhabit our society. Largely her work has been in association with Chickenshed Theatre Company. She is also a freelance artist and is excited (and of course a little nervous) to bring her developed skills in this area to Sadler Heath, which she has participated in a few times now. She hopes to challenge and be challenged!

Bring an open and curious mind. Wear something comfortable, as there will be a variety of written, discursive and theatrical work.

You are welcome to come for our morning only (£45) with formal events finishing at 1:00pm, or to stay for the lovely home made lunch if you like (£65 for morning and lunch).
