Talking Values and Culture

We invite you to our London space in The Amadeus Centre to explore Values and Culture with Lisa Peach, a long term member of our community.

Culture can be hard to get hold of after all it is such a big nebulous, slow moving thing.  What Lisa would like to offer is a session where culture and values can be experienced as a little lighter on their feet, practical, pragmatic and relevant; where we could start a conversation and work with a model and some approaches; where we can have space for including both the I and the We…. and to have time for reflecting on intentions and behaviours.

Lisa was delighted and a little daunted at being invited to bring her thinking to Sadler Heath, and in the spirit of the invitation and bringing work that is at the edge of her learning.  In 2017 she began work in new ways with values and culture in earnest and she is sharpening her cultural lens.   She made a conscious change moving from higher education and started working for multiple organisations as an external consultant and for the first time was getting to see and experience different contexts and cultures at the same time.  This coincided with collaborating with Dr Martin Egan who introduced her to Conscious Business and Richard Barrett’s work on Culture and Values and the Barrett 7 Levels of Consciousness Model.

It is from this content that she plans to share some of her journey, understanding and experiences of working with culture and values and the Barrett 7 Levels of Consciousness Model in an applied way.

Our workshop will be held at our regular London venue The Amadeus Centre and will start at 9:30am and finish latest at 1pm.  We are not intending to have lunch this time but a simple and delicious continental breakfast is available from 9am.

All of our events are experiential and experimental.  Nobody gets paid anything in Sadler Heath and the person bringing the catalyst for learning each time is a member of our community also coming on their learning edge.  We have a moderator each time who has the responsibility of containing the space to allow us all to learn with each other.

Lisa Peach is an independent leadership consultant and executive coach, an associate with ndc and a visiting faculty of Cotrugli business school. She has over 20 years experience as a leader in OD, HR and Line Management, and as an internal consultant in many blue chip organisations.  She has a Masters in Consulting from Ashridge and has been an university lecturer in Business and HR strategy.  She is qualified in Human Synergistics LSI, MBTI, Firo B, Kilmann and Culture Transformation Tools (Barrett Values Centre) with a certificate in psycho-dynamic counselling and a post-grad in Adult Learning in Higher Education and is a Fellow of CiPD.
