Fri, 10th November, 2017 from 8:30 AM, in St Albans
As people committed to your own long term personal development you are invited to participate in our inaugural event of the renewed St Albans Sadler Heath community.
In this event we will explore the whole topic of listening both to ourselves and others. Jeremy Keeley will be bringing the construct for the conversations. The title comes from the work of Marshall Rosenburg on non-violent communication, but the exploration will bring a number of angles to listening and we hope you will go away having had a fun and insightful morning, perhaps feeling even more confident in your listening and perhaps having, while listening and talking, explored meaning, joy, energy, motivation and thriving, as well as paying attention to fear, anxiety, anger and core need. Perhaps the day will contribute towards your approaches to coaching, healing, inspiring, holding tougher conversations, leading change and all the other aspects of working life in which listening is a powerful enabler.
The event will be held in the little bowling club on the edge of Clarence Park – a maximum of 10 minutes walk from St Albans City Station which is on the Thameslink line through London. Teas and coffees and lite bite will be available from 8:30am and we will start at 9am and finish by 12:30pm.
We really look forward to seeing you there.
As you know, Sadler Heath is a not-for-profit organisation and nobody gets paid anything. We all come on our learning edge and are learning together, including the person who brings the topic for exploration. We hope you will be prepared to contribute towards the cost of the accommodation with any surplus contributing to our accounting and website costs. We believe that £15 will cover this contribution this time.
